After years of living on a large acreage
and coping with the commuter nightmare of Sydney traffic, we longed for a simpler life in a country town not too far away from Sydney and family. We loved the South Coast, often visiting friends in the area. Our criteria were to find an old house we could restore and to have a large garden able to fulfil our many requirements.
In November 2009 we moved into a large rambling weatherboard Californian Bungalow built in the 1920s in the South Coast town of Nowra. We painted the house Butter Yellow and it became the “Yellow House”.
