In spring a fragrant cloud of pastel mauve flowers envelopes this bush, the soft grey green dentate leaves are equally fragrant and by just brushing past the sweet fragrance of spice is released. A hardy deciduous bush it will tolerate light frost, for colder areas plant in a protected spot.
A plant I’m sentimental about as my Gran loved it, she called it by its old name of Moss Cosma.
Prune in late summer to retain shape, a tough plant which copes with dry conditions.
