Large glowing purple and mauve flowers, a bit like a Salvia on steroids, are produced through the warmer months. Big glossy corrugated leaves. Everything about this South American native is in generous proportions. Frost tender, so best in a sheltered spot if you get frost. Hardy but grows best in part shade. 150cm x 50cm
